Benefits for Full Time Employees

 

Equitas Academy believes in a total compensation package and offers highly competitive benefits for full-time employees (30+ hours per week) and their families, including medical, dental, vision and life insurance plans. We support employees who want choice and affordable health care benefits for their whole family.

 

Medical Plans


We know that employees have different needs and preferences for medical care. We offer a choice of medical plans: Kaiser Gold, Kaiser Platinum, Blue Shield HMO and Blue Shield PPO.

Dental Plans

  • We offer a choice of an EPO plan or POS (includes EPO, PPO, and out-of-network coverage) through Principal.
 

Vision Plan

  • We have an optional Vision plan through VSP.
 

Life Insurance


  • All full-time employees receive group-term life insurance through Principal.
  • Employees may purchase additional voluntary life insurance for themselves, their spouse or their children at low costs.

  • Flexible spending account for dependent care
  • 403b retirement plan which can be tailored to each individual employee's needs. We offer a dollar for dollar match up to 3% of salary for our employees who do not have Cal-STRS benefits.
 

Employee perks

Equitas Academy believes strongly in the development and growth of our staff. All employees have a coach that helps guide their development through weekly meetings and observations. Some of the development options we offer are:

  • Four weeks of professional development in August before the school year begins
