I became an educator because I want to empower students to believe in themselves and see their potential, especially those who feel overlooked or struggle with language barriers.
Prior to Equitas, I had been living abroad teaching English in various countries, including South Korea and Spain. During this time, I worked with students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, which helped me develop strong skills in language support, and creating inclusive learning environments.
I chose Equitas because I was drawn to its mission of providing equitable education to students. As someone who has worked with diverse learners abroad, I felt aligned with Equitas' commitment to equity, community, and student growth. I wanted to be a part of a school that values inclusivity and empowers every student to thrive.
Outside of school, I enjoy hanging out with my friends, hiking, traveling, roadtrips, going to the gym, and being active.
