I became an educator because… I wanted to be a positive role model for children in education, I grew up having a difficult experience in school, racism and having a learning disability was part of my school experience as a kid so because of that I wanted to flip my negative experience into my super power to influence a positive and exciting experience for kids growing up in this generation

Making sure they have an exciting educational experience and healing my inner child at same time with “ Play” and “ Love”

Prior to Equitas, I… Prior to Equitas I had many jobs “ Superior Market as a meat clerk, a produce clerk, I worked at LAX Airport as a wheel chair agent, I worked at Nordstrom as an online Packer, I worked at Target as an online packer as well

My first educator based job that I had was woodcraft rangers after school program leader which helped me build my educator experience through elementary school and middle school, it allowed me build confidence and network with teachers in education which allowed me the opportunity to work at Equitas Academy Flagship which I was excited to move into this phase in my career as an educator in Elementary

I chose Equitas because… I loved working with the kids I met while being part of the after school program and also appreciated the teachers who I made positive relationships with and I wanted to continue being part of the school so I decided to apply and become part of the Equitas Academy community officially as an educator full-time

Outside of school, I enjoy… I enjoy Dancing, singing karaoke, I love trying out new coffee shops ! Favorite is mocha ice coffee, I like watching movies in theaters or Netflix as anime or scary movies or super hero movies

I like working out at 24 hr fitness and hanging out with my best friends and becoming a better person each day
