Behavior and Instructional Aide

I became an educator because… I believe in the transformative power of learning to change lives and open up new opportunities. I am passionate about guiding students not only academically but also in developing positive behaviors that support their growth. Education gives me the chance to make a lasting impact by equipping young people with knowledge, confidence, and life skills. Every day, I am motivated by the progress I see in both their learning and their character.

Prior to Equitas, I… worked throughout LA County as a traveling behavior interventionist, both in-home and school settings. I also attended college, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and am currently pursuing a Master of Architecture.Outside of school, I enjoy… Spending time with those whom I love dearly, trying new food, and pursuing my degree in Architecture.

I chose Equitas because… of its strong sense of community and supportive learning environment. The positive relationships among staff create a collaborative culture where everyone works together for students’ success. I value being part of a place where both students and educators can thrive.

Outside of school, I enjoy… spending time with family and friends, exploring new places, and trying new food!
