I became an educator because...I became an educator because I want to impact lives, make a difference, and create a space where both students and I can grow together. I believe that learning is a two-way street — not only do students learn from teachers, but teachers also learn from their students. We all have something valuable to share.

Prior to Equitas, I...worked as a teacher at Crete Academy!

I chose Equitas because… of its mission. I’m inspired by how the organization supports students not only academically but also by prioritizing their overall well-being. I appreciate that both students and families are seen, supported, and heard. The emphasis on advocacy is also powerful — it empowers us all, educators and students alike, to speak up, grow, and advocate for ourselves and others!

Outside of school, I enjoy...drawing and hiking.
