I chose to work in education because I value the opportunity to support meaningful work behind the scenes and witness the impact our Network Team makes every day. Visiting our schools, seeing the smiling faces of our scholars, and hearing stories of the significant progress they make are powerful reminders of why this work matters.

Prior to joining Equitas, I held a variety of administrative roles while also being a stay-at-home parent. I truly enjoyed volunteering at my children’s schools and supporting students as they grow, learn, and thrive, which ultimately reinforced my desire to work in education.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our four kids, often cheering them on at youth sports events. Our family also loves rooting for the University of Washington Huskies and the Seattle Mariners. I’m a coffee enthusiast—always happy with an iced white chocolate Americano—and enjoy staying active through running and long hikes, as well as traveling with my family.
