Behavior Interventionist
I became an educator because… I was inspired to pursue education through the profound impact of my elementary school teachers, who demonstrated genuine care for me both as a scholar and as an individual. Their dedication fostered my love of learning and instilled in me a deep appreciation for the transformative power of education. I am committed to providing that same level of support and inspiration to young learners, serving as a positive role model and mentor who believes in each student's potential. My goal is to create an environment where students feel valued, encouraged, and empowered to achieve their dreams.
Prior to Equitas, I… was working as a Behavior Technician (BT) with kids on the spectrum and found it really rewarding being able to assist families and see the potential and growth that all the kiddos have as individuals.
I chose Equitas because… I was drawn to its comprehensive educational environment that fosters holistic student growth. From my initial introduction to the organization, I recognized it as an ideal setting where I could develop my skills as an educator while supporting diverse learners through their academic and personal challenges.
Outside of school, I enjoy… being able to stay active through sports such running, volleyball, pickleball and snowboarding. Being able to spend time with my family and loved ones is also something that I enjoy whether it's doing activities or grabbing a coffee with them.
