I became an educator because… I want to empower scholars to believe in their ability to improve the world around them. Prior to Equitas, I… worked elementary private school in South LA and Boyle Heights.

Prior to Equitas, I… worked on building my foundation as an educator through my college studies and professional experiences in the field.

I chose Equitas because… I was seeking a larger team that could support my professional growth through methodical planning and diverse teaching methodologies.

Outside of school, I enjoy… spending quality time with my daughter, family, and friends. I also love being outdoors- whether it's hiking, running, or exploring new food spots.
