I became an educator because… I think there is something incredible about being able to create an impactful and joyful experience for children in their school-aged years.

Prior to Equitas, I… graduated University of California, Irvine with a BA in Sociology and a minor in Education.
After attending Pepperdine University for my Masters in Education, I taught 3rd grade and middle school grades (6th-8th math) for 9 years. I transitioned out of education for 3 years to run a 24-hour Fitness Facility as an owner and Personal Trainer - only to realize that education is where I wanted to be. I started at Equitas in 21-22 as an Assistant School Director and have enjoyed the journey ever since!

I chose Equitas because… there is so much collaboration and joy! I feel inspired everyday by the people I am surrounded by.

Outside of school, I enjoy… being active, being outdoors when it’s sunny, and spending quality time with my husband (Michael), daughter (Olivia), and son (Max)! family.
