I became an educator because… I enjoy talking and learning new things from my Spanish speaking students who are barely learning English.

Prior to Equitas, I…  enjoyed my childhood at the Salvation Army, a community center in the area, which helps keep kids in the Pico Union area off the streets. I loved going there to play sports and meet new people.

I chose Equitas because… I could use my learning experiences and teach them.

Outside of school, I enjoy… Going to the park and watch the airplanes land at LAX.community.
