I became an educator because… I wanted to be able to be the support that many of our students and bridge the academic needs for our student in special education.

Prior to Equitas, I… was a caregiver helping students with special needs at home and I saw how much I can support them in a a school setting.

I chose Equitas because… they foster their students to grow together as a community and advocate for themselves which prepares them for the future.

Outside of school, I enjoy… reading and going to the movie theaters with some buttery popcorn.
