Enrichment Teacher

I became an educator because… I wanted to be able to make an impact and show students and even adults the joy that dance can be and that I have found and how you can apply it to what is being taught in the classroom. I also wanted to be in a job I was able to move around.

Prior to Equitas, I… was the President of the CSULB Salsa club where I was able to cultivate a community of dancers and have safe space where all were able to move their bodies and express themselves through Latin dancing.

I chose Equitas because… I wanted a place where there was diversity in both the student body and in the staff I was working with.

Outside of school, I enjoy… swimming at the beach, playing games with friends, cooking dinner with my roommate, journaling, reading, and more dancing.
