I became an educator because I want to make an impact as directly as possible, I know the students we educate now will be the backbone of a better future!

Prior to Equitas, I worked as a one-on-one, a tutor, a registered behavior technician, and an after school program leader. I worked a combination of these positions starting during the 2023-2024 school year until joining the Equitas team this year!

I chose Equitas because of their commitment to growth for both the students they serve, and the staff that serve them. Seeing how integrated Equitas is with the community and how much of an effort the team puts into creating these safer spaces is one of the stand-out aspects of Equitas.

Outside of school, I enjoy going on hikes and learning how to cook new recipes!
