SPED Program Specialist & Case Manager

I became an educator because I wanted to support students in the same way that the educators in my life supported my growth and sense of belonging and community. I enjoy seeing students grow in their understanding of concepts from week to week and the difference in how they approach problems in and out of the classroom.

Prior to Equitas, I was the director of special education at Collegiate, which is now our first ever Equitas High School. I started my educational career through Teach For America in the Rio Grande Valley after graduating from LMU and have been in education ever since.

I chose Equitas because I want to be a part of this exciting new era of Equitas and support the impact on the communities we serve!

Outside of school, I enjoy going to the beach, learning songs on the bass and guitar, hiking and road trips!
