I became an educator because… I wanted to make a positive impact on students’ lives and be part of their growth.

Prior to Equitas, I… managed the operations of a clinical onboarding company. During that time, I also completed my Associate’s Degree in Business. In addition, I worked part-time at afterschool programs, including Arc @ EQ2, where I had the opportunity to lead my own class. Through this experience, I discovered how much I enjoy supporting students and helping them grow into their best selves with the right guidance and encouragement.

I chose Equitas because… Pico-Union feels like home to me. I grew up nearby and spent much of my childhood passing through these streets with family and friends, so the community holds a special place in my heart. I also feel deeply connected to Equitas’ core values, which align closely with my own and inspire me to contribute meaningfully to the students and families we serve.

Outside of school, I enjoy… planning trips to different cities and countries with my friends and family. I also love attending music festivals and concerts.
