I became an educator because… I love working with kids! The joy, energy, and hope they bring to school every day inspires me. I also believe a strong education is a path to building a more just society.

Prior to Equitas, I… taught second grade and sixth grade in other schools. I also worked at a community center in Nicaragua for two years.

I chose Equitas because… I believe Equitas provides a very strong education to each scholar. The structure, curriculum, and school culture promotes learning, and I think it's the best school there is!

Outside of school, I enjoy… hiking, biking, paddleboarding, reading, and trying new restaurants with friends!
