I became an educator because… I had such fond memories of my schooling experience and I wanted to create that for other kids.

Prior to Equitas, I… taught 3rd grade in my hometown of Nashville, Tennessee.

I chose Equitas because… of the positive, and collaborative environment. The staff was welcoming and believed in all students.

Outside of school, I enjoy… spending time with my husband and cat, reading, and going to the gym.
