Jessica Edelman serves as the Director of Talent at Equitas Academy. Prior to joining Equitas, Ms. Edelman worked at Teach For America-New Jersey where she led the effort to build and sustain district and school partnerships and onboard each new cohort of teachers. Ms. Edelman was also a classroom teacher for four years, teaching English, science, and social studies to upper elementary and middle school students. Ms. Edelman earned an M.A. in Comparative and International Education from Teachers College, Columbia University and an B.A. in elementary education from Wheaton College. Ms. Edelman believes that education is one of the most influential factors in a person’s life. And every child in our country deserves access to a high quality, excellent education that prepares them for whatever ventures they choose to pursue.
