Equitas Academy Elementary School was named a California Distinguished School by the California Department of Education in the 2013-2014 school year. The Distinguished Schools Program focuses on schools that provide rigorous and equitable education for all students, demonstrate educational innovation, and make significant progress in closing the achievement gap. We were excited to highlight our data-driven instructional practices and parent participation as two of our signature practices, and we are honored to be among the schools that earned state-wide recognition.
